A Viola with marvelous tone and balance, meticulous craftsmanship. Lovely arching for a full, flourishing tone. This well-recommended European Viola is popular with all its owners. The top is made of the highest quality Balkan spruce with extra straight narrow grain. It has a highly-flamed maple back with matching sides and scroll. This Viola is based on the Tertis model which features very wide lower bouts. This model, although having a larger body, has a string length equivalent to a smaller viola. The varnish is extremely beautiful. It is antiqued with the same care as the fine Old Italian masters. Viola includes Dr. Zaret's patented bass bar. Viola includes Dr. Zaret's patented bass bar. Raab Violas are available in 15"-16.5" sizes.

Outfit includes Ludwig Knopf silver-mounted pernambuco bow and suspension oblong case with four bow holders and hygrometer.
